Is-sinjal għal PROTEZZJONI jew PPROTEĠI jsir biż-żewġ idejn. Id waħda tieqaf bil-forma ta’ 5 bil-pala tħares ’il fuq waqt li l-id l-oħra tieħu l-forma ta’ 5 ftit milwija. Din l-id tittella’ livell fuq ir-ras, bil-pala tħares ’l isfel u tinżel ’l isfel biex il-ġenb tas-saba’ ż-żgħir imiss mal-pala tal-id wieqfa.
The sign for PROTECTION or PROTECT is made with both hands. One hand lies stationary in the shape of 5 with the palm facing upwards whilst the other hand takes the shape of slightly bent 5. This hand is raised to above head level with palm facing downwards and moves down so that the side of the pinkie touches the palm of the stationary hand.
